We have a new opening in our Stockholm office for an Application Support Engineer.
You will join a team supporting Vix major clients in Scandinavia providing technical assistance during test, release & deploy, incident resolution and where required will be the conduit for escalation to engineering and other parts of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Second Line support with adherence to ITIL processes while ensuring correct utilization of Global Customer Operations support systems and alerts / incidents management, providing high levels of customer satisfaction and non-breach with regards to performance.
• Use of report tool - correctly completed and incidents are managed within correct process and management of communications and updates on incident progress to customer and other stakeholders
• Maintain and build internal knowledge base to facilitate knowledge transfer across global support department and migration knowledge to level one support staff - where applicable, working as part of the Global community and provide positive suggestions that will enhance customer experience.
• Undertake installation, configuration and preventative maintenance of customers' systems
• Perform test and quality management during release & deploy
• Ensure compliance with any process and policy documents (to include incident, problem, change and release processes), SLA and KPI compliance to work in tandem with global engineering and architecture teams

Skills and Qualifications:

You have over two years' experience in an application-led IT environment and have advanced knowledge of Oracle DB, good knowledge of Windows Servers, Solaris and Unix, and strong incident and problem-solving skills (ITIL skills are desirable) in a timely, efficient manner.

You have advanced MS Office skills.
You are fluent in Swedish and English.
You have strong communications skills, allowing you to work well in collaboration with clients as well as other functions.
Ideally, you would have Database qualifications - specifically administration, understanding of development applications, knowledge of third party software applications.
