Kongsberg Automotive is now looking for a Application Software-ASW Test engineer who would like to be part of the future development of our products. We are aiming to constantly be in the forefront of our product areas.
The position is based at Kongsberg Automotive
Technical Centre in Mullsjö, Sweden.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Hardware In the loop- HIL test system to support MCU Application Software development and validation tests.
Plan and develop test case specifications for new ASW functions for different customers.
Develop test automation scripts.
Develop and execute test matrices for Hardware in-the-loop basic I/O checks, Full and/or partial regression or acceptance tests.
Be able to understand and summarize customer SW testing requirements.
Execute test cases using HIL rigs and generate software validation reports,
Identify and report software defects-bugs and collaborate with Application software development engineers to help the fix the SW bugs.
Report internal stakeholders by providing Validation and verification reports.
Requirements
Minimum BSc degree In Mechatronics, Control systems, Electrical and electronics engineering.
Experience in MATLAB and SIMULINK.
Experience with Software testing of embedded systems.
Familiarity with Requirements management tool (DOORS, JAZZ, POLARION etc. )
Experience on using JIRA.
Experience in working in HIL systems.
Experience with automotive network communication and basic understanding of CAN and ethernet communication.
Experience in Software V&V processes inline with ISO26262 requirements.
Good English language skills, Swedish is an advantage
