Job Description
The infrastructure pieces used by an application are not useful, unless someone takes responsibility for the total outcome and that's where the AO technician comes in to action. The AO technicians are trained in understanding both the infrastructure components and the application itself from an operational perspective.
Be the technical specialist on Dynamics AX application operation (AO). You will work together with a team dedicated to the operation of the applications used by both internal Volvo customers and customer outside the Volvo group. The systems operated are crucial to the customers? business, which require high focus and demand on the team..
Key responsibilities
Ensuring production environment availability
Troubleshooting problems in complex environments and providing timely diagnosis of problems
Producing and reviewing documentation
Installing and supporting new versions and updates in the production environment
Participate in enhancement and development projects
Contribute to the development of team methods and processes
Plan and manage cross solution training in the team
Weekend and evening work is part of the job but the normal working hours are 8 hours flex between 07:00-17:00
Who are you?
For this position, we need a person with very good experience in the IT field.
The IT environment includes Dynamics AX 2009 and related products like SharePoint Server 2010 and SQL 2008.
Experienced in the Windows server area and preferably from large scale environments
Good knowledge in the Dynamics AX, Sharepoint 2010, IIS, and SQL 2008 areas with infrastructure focus
Citrix experience is considered an additional qualification
Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural organization
Very good communication and documentation skills
Well organized, with an eye for detail
Very good ability to collaborate in teams as well as being an independent driving force
3+ years experience in defining, customizing and implementing software solutions.
Full lifecycle experience in architecting mid-size scalable operations of AX solutions.
Technical skills and experience required to define full system requirements including servers specs and application interfaces required for proposed solutions.
A strong understanding of business requirements and IT strategies.
Good written and spoken Swedish and English is a requirement.
