Application Engineer at AIM Sweden AB
AIM Sweden AB is a growing innovation company specializing in industrial Additive Manufacturing, also referred to as 3D printing. Our mission is to help customers in selected target markets to capture the full potential of Additive Manufacturing. We do that by supporting the customer from initial idea, through feasibility studies, application development and qualification to serial production - we call that journey Production through Knowledge.

Our customers are found in various industrial segments, while our main focus is Orthopedics and Molded Fiber primarily. We are ISO9001 and ISO13485 certified and provide serial production of orthopedic implants. A high-quality standard is the foundation of everything we do.

Job description
You will be part of a small group of highly qualified specialists that mainly work with applying the AM technology, primarily the EBM technology, to solve customer challenges. In this critical role you will interact with customers in different industry segments to discuss and analyze customer requirements. Based on the requirements you will develop a strategy for how we in the best possible way apply the 3D printing technology.
Our approach varies from straight forward production preparation to larger projects involving design for AM, development of new modeling methods, build strategy optimization and programming.

As an application engineer you will build up a deep understanding of the EBM technology and an important task is also to provide trouble shooting and technical support to our own production and quality function.

It is important that all employees are well-structured, take responsibility and are open to different type of tasks.

• Programming (especially in C# or Python language)
• Fluent in English
• A mature and well-structured team player with a passion for innovation and problem-solving
