The section Driving Dynamics Centre is responsible for target setting, analysis and verification of Vehicle Dynamics, Braking and Driving Assistance. The concept of work includes objective testing and subjective evaluation of complete vehicles on Proving Grounds and during expeditions in real traffic environment. Other important deliveries are developing virtual models and performing simulation with Hardware in the Loop system (HIL) and Software in the Loop system (SIL)

The organization is growing, and we are currently looking for one Analysis Engineer to work in the Brake team. You will perform testing and calibration of functionality in order to get the best possible customer experience. The complexity of the system require that you are familiar with test equipment and computers and how to use them in the car. You will work close together with colleagues within the group and suppliers.

What you will do

You will plan, prepare, lead and conduct test and calibration of all longitudinal brake functions in our current and future hybrid and battery cars.

You will evaluate attribute testing in vehicle, identify needs, invent new test procedures when needed, evaluate, and report test results.

You will contribute to the development of advanced braking functions and co-operate with active safety and power train engineers

You and your skills

We see that you have a M.Sc. in mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering.

You have experience and knowledge with function development and control theory and have work experience from the automotive industry.

You have experience with car driving on test track both in summer and winter condition and of course then have a valid driver's license.

You are fluent in both written and spoken English.

On a personal level

You are a positive and enthusiastic team player who takes initiatives and can identify and accomplish challenging objectives.

You have strong organizational and communication skills and are able to plan, conduct, and summarize reports in a structured and thorough manner.
