The development within Active Safety and Driver Support has been one of the fastest growing parts of Volvo R&D for the last decade. Volvo is the leading car manufacturer within this area and we are consistently launching world first Driver Assistance & Active Safety features in our vehicles. The Active Safety department consist of over 400 engineers and is responsible for the development and verification of Active Safety and Vehicle Dynamics systems and functions. The department will also have a major role in the development of Autonomous Vehicles at Volvo.
The Active Safety Analysis & Verification section supports development and performs verification of active safety functions and systems by means of virtual or physical testing. To secure the verification of the next generation Active Safety technology we are now recruiting for an ADAS Analysis & Verification Leader.
Main responsibilities
* Own analysis & verification plan
* Coordinate and prioritise which verification activities that needs to be performed and which test environment that are to be used
* Work cross-functional supporting the engineering areas
* Coordinate Analysis and Verification activities with engineering areas that Active Safety have dependencies to (HMI, brake, steering, powertrain, cloud, etc)
* Report verification results to line and project. Escalate risks as needed
* Actively take part in and contribute to the work in the Active Safety Analysis & Verification management team
Required qualifications
* M.Sc University degree in engineering (mechanical, electro) or similar
* Experienced test leader with experience from Active Safety or other automotive areas
* Have an understanding for the verification levels unit test, integration test, sensor verification, system verification and function verification
* Fluent in English, spoken and written
* Driving license (B)

* Interest in leadership issues
* Self-going and able to take initiatives
* Have an interest in working with analysis and verification supporting development of automotive safety and advanced supportive systems
* Structured, thorough and comfortable in summarising and presenting the status of your tasks
