Polestar is blazing a new trail and we are engaged in electric car performance. Your experience in electrical products, automotive and/or aftermarket would be invaluable to us when working with designing sustainable technical training for increased customer satisfaction.

Let us describe the challenge we offer

The Polestar Technical Training Team works to identify and secure competence through the development and delivery of training for retail personnel, customer care agents and service partner technicians.

Your role will be to develop and deliver technical training to market trainers and technicians who will maintain, repair and fault-trace Polestar cars. This includes both basic knowledge as well as describing new car technologies. The technologies and functions will be described in a pedagogical way using on-line training, animations, films, hands-on activities etc.

You will also be part of the development of training material for commercial training. The team is on the most amazing journey, facing huge challenges and fantastic opportunities! The passion we share for performance cars and sustainability gives us a great platform to help improve what happens in the workshops all over the Polestar markets.

This position is based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What you'll do

For example you will:

• Keep you up to date with existing and coming Polestar vehicle technology, as well as with coming technology to support technical training
• Make sure prerequisites are in place for a successful technical training
• Develop technical training and certificates
• Plan and follow-up technical training with market representatives, globally
• Perform technical training according to the train-to-trainer methodology
• Support various market activities that require quick solutions and cost estimates related to repair, retrofit or similar
• Act in front of cameras when producing tech training assets or interacting digitally with a remote workshop

Who you are

To be a great fit for this position we believe you:

• Have documented technical experience from the automotive industry, genuine interest in electric cars and new technologies and a curiosity when it comes to new ways of implementing training.
• Have knowledge regarding how to write and express technology and functions in a pedagogical way and English is a natural language for written and spoken communication.
• Experience from different markets when it comes to the needs and use of technical information and training, in-vehicle diagnostics, high voltage automotive systems and conducting classroom trainings is preferred.

As a person, you are enthusiastic, motivated, well-organized, and driven. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty working on cars yourself, learn and try new ways to do things.
