The Electrolux business sector Small Appliances sells more than 16 million vacuum cleaners and small domestic appliances annually in 150 markets worldwide. Electrolux is industry leading in developing silent vacuum cleaners. We are now further strengthening this core technology area. In our high technology acoustic laboratory the Development Engineer will support our global organization in developing the future in silent products.

Key operational responsibilities:
Develop and improve technical solutions for vacuum cleaners as well as other small appliances.
Assure that technically feasible, well-verified and defined solutions are chosen for the product.
Perform tests according to IEC standards, national and internal regulations.
Design test set-ups and test verifications to evaluate new and existing solutions in our products.
Drive technical investigations to deliver a given result.
Create technical documentation.
Translate knowledge from testing into proposals for improvements.
Function as Test Leader in projects, i.e. create complete test plans and also organize for the tests to be performed within the team.

Requirements:
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Engineering, majoring acoustics or similar knowledge level.
Team player with excellent ability to work in cross functional an international teams.
Creative and with a passion for innovation.
Very good analytical skills.
Experience in project work.
Minimum 5 years of working experience
Knowledge of testing procedures and standards.
Strong capability to communicate (oral, written and graphic).
Experience in writing technical project reports (English).
MS Office
Practical experience of building prototypes or other equipments.
Required languages: English
