Finance is currently looking for an Accountant to the General Ledger team based in Stockholm. As an Accountant you will be responsible for the monthly reporting and reconciliations for certain legal entities. The role includes understanding of your Balance sheet as well as analyzing your Income statement. Responding to internal and external auditors? requests and provide the organization with information when required. The role also includes income tax returns, annual reporting and VAT reporting. Knowledge of consolidation would be beneficial.
The role also involves enhancement work to improve existing accounting procedures and being involved in specific projects within the team and business area when applicable.

Qualifications required:
• University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience from accounting
• Knowledge of Swedish legislation essential
• Excellent skills in Excel is required
• Excellent skills in English and Swedish, both oral and written is required
• Interest in systems and related issues, PeopleSoft is preferable

You need to have strong communication skills at all levels and great aptitude to communicate clearly and in a professional manner. To suit this position you are a service-minded and a problem-solving person. You have the ability to work independently as well as in team; you initiate improvements and implement them. It is important that you are a highly motivated and self-driven person with the ability to work with tight deadlines and to prioritize work. You are a planning and organizing person with attention to detail and accuracy but also able to keep the ?bigger picture? in mind. You are a naturally curious individual who has the courage to reach to others in the business and make contact with key stakeholders.
