We are currently looking for software developer to work with Ericsson's industry-leading SGSN-MME node that is a part of 2G-, 3G and 4G-networks. We are constantly adding new functionality to support the existing and future generation networks.
SGSN-MME is a central (key) node in the packet core network, providing packet data capability to GSM, 3G and SAE/LTE (Evolved Packet System). The SGSN-MME is a distributed system written mainly in Erlang and C/C++.
We stand at the forefront of Agile software development, using methods like Lean and Scrum to create a product that excels. Early customer and stakeholder feedback is a key element in our development process which is based on Continuous Integration SW practices. We rely on team collective responsibility to complete all tasks according to an established backlog priority.
As a SW developer you will work in a cross functional team, that has total responsibility for the feature!
The cross functional team performs early analysis, systemization, design, implementation and verification based on customer and product requirements.
You should have a passion for mobile networks, and a creative way of working that will continuously enhance our working methods. You are curious to try new ways of working according to Lean and Agile concepts!
You're a team player who enjoys sharing your knowledge and skills with your colleagues across other business disciplines, but equally, you can work well independently.
We work in a very inspiring international environment, parts of our development is distributed to Shanghai.
Qualifications:
• MSc or BSc of Computer Science or similar
• Team player and relation developer in R&D multi-site environment
• Experience of Agile software development methodologies
• Telecommunication, 3GPP
• Erlang and/or C/C++
• Fluent communicative skills in English
