We are now looking for Connected Mobility System Engineers!

Description

You will be part of the Chapter for Connected Mobility, which is one of three teams within the Mobility Design Tribe.

You will be part of a cross functional team working primarily with other system architects and design engineers, both internal and external.

You will be part of the whole chain, developing solutions to quality-assure and make available streaming data to/from the vehicles connected to a cloud-based environment. The system is based on a cloud platform and IOT at the forefront of technology.

You will join an agile organization, where team work, empowered self-organizing teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful. This role also provides the possibility to participate in building our future organization structure.

We will ensure that you will have the opportunities to grow and take on new challenges.

This role also involves:

- Enhance current platform
- Part of team that develops future platform / both by implementation and by lead suppliers.
- Create requirements both internal and external
- Interpret business requirements
- Create high level solution design
- Understanding the basics of in-vehicle communication and protocols
- Understanding the basics of software structure for in-vehicle ECU's and diagnostics
- Requirement feedback / update / optimization / allocation throughout the complete development process
- Supporting technical communication with suppliers and external partners through the complete product development lifecycle
- Identifying opportunities to improve products or processes
- Evaluating the feasibility of new design proposals and requirement changes
- Providing input to best practice design solutions

We are looking for someone who has:

- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 5years work experience connectivity/IOT solutions
- Knowledge of in-vehicle electrical architectures
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written
- Driver license B

Seen as merit:

- Knowledge in techniques such as MQTT, TLS, and RESTful API's.
- Modelling in UML including object oriented analysis and design

To be successful in the role, you need to:

- Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded
- Have good communication skills
- Be a great team player
- Have the ability to plan and prioritize

Terms

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
