Youth is ON- Nordic/ Baltic Trainee Program
As a trainee you will get great introduction to our business and organization, our customers and their needs. Practical exposure is alternated with trainings and assignments. You will begin to contribute to Schneider Electrics success and simultaneously gain experience, develop your skills and reinforce your knowledge.
The trainee program offers two different tracks: project management and Sales.
Our Sales track will have a commercial direction and focus to understand our customers? core business and strategies and find ways how Schneider Electric can add value to them.
This year, we are targeting our recruitment at Sweden, Norway and Baltic.
What background do you need?
We are looking for qualified new graduates with a Masters Degree in Engineering or Economics. We want you to be result orientated, entrepreneurial, open-minded and with a compelling interest for energy management and efficiency. Your strong interest in business helps to ensure that we add value to our customers and to Schneider Electric in everything we do.
It's necessary that you are fluent in English and in the native language of the country that you apply to. In other words it is necessary for you to speak Swedish to apply to the Swedish part of the program, and so on.
What will happen during the Trainee Program?
You will start with a company introduction to Schneider Electric where you will learn the basics about our company, markets, products, strategies as well as corporate values. You will also get to know the other trainees, which will help you to build the network for your future career at Schneider Electric.
The trainee year is divided into several periods of training and gaining practical experience. You will acquire knowledge about our industry, business, customers and their needs. You will receive intense training and take part in ongoing projects and assignments. Throughout all periods you will have coaches who will guide and advise you.
Between the periods there are two follow-up sessions where all the trainees come together to share knowledge and experiences with each other. You will also work with- and present a cross border project.
As a trainee you are hired into a specific track, sales or project, in a specific country. Throughout the trainee year you will refer to this as your home country and will get ongoing support from an assigned coach there. This will allow you to be well prepared for your work after the trainee year and to make the most out of your trainee time with respect to your future position.
When does the next Trainee Program begin and how do you apply?
