Position description:
The E/E Team, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will part of a team of Engineers, with primary responsibility for the Power & Signal distribution system, electro-mechanical components, and 12v battery.
An Engineer Wire-Harness Schematics primarily collaborates internally with other engineers, technical specialists. Collaborates externally with suppliers and is involved in all phases of a car project.
The role as Engineer Wire-Harness Schematics involves:
• Develop Wire-Harness Schematics from Interface Descriptions and Mechanical Packaging (positioning). "Logical Design" of wire-harness.
• Working in close cooperation with Mechanical Arcitecture team, Electrical Architecture team, and Wire harness suppler in designing complete vehicle wire-harness design
• Develop, calibrate and evaluate according to project timing
• Identify root-causes of identified issues during verification/validation and develop countermeasures/solutions as needed.
• Identifying opportunities and implement changes to improve products or processes and reduce cost
• Anchoring the assignment's decisions , development and status with the responsible line management
We are looking for someone who has:
• Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience from automotive Power & Signal Distribution system design
• Experience from working with tools like Saber Harness, Mentor Graphics Capital or equivalent
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
• Driver license B
