We're looking for a proven technical leader and cultural champion to take on the role as VP of Engineering in our team. Your mission would be to lead our engineering team to excellence in the way of working, collaboration and executional processes while maintaining the entrepreneurial culture within the teams. You would be working alongside with, and reporting to, the CTO with focus on operation and organizational leadership allowing the CTO to focus on the long-term strategy. You would have a wide set of responsibilities including building the right amount of processes to stream-line development and operations, competence building across the teams and hiring the best talents in the global market. You would also take the lead in taking the right architectural decision that scales with our product and our swiftly growing user base.
Your skills
• The individual will bring a proven track record of rapidly building a diverse set of tech teams across the engineering organization, monitoring team maturity and applying the necessary tweaks to maximize value creation going beyond managing teams, inspiring engineering culture
• Evidence of excellent operational delivery
• Track record of building best in class teams, processes and systems, values simplicity and take ownership in operational aspects beyond the building phase
• Strong technology vision and strategic abilities
• Product Management background
• Experience of having worked in a product management capacity, having worked horizontally across a technology focused organization will be a benefit
• Strong communication skills and people management skills and the ability to influence peers through a high bar setting and bias to action
• Hands on architecting and development abilities
• Deep understanding of engineering principles to take the right decisions and lead the teams successfully
