THE POSITION
As a Visual Merchandising Manager, you are a key player in forming the current and future customer experience at Monki, ensuring that we are inspiring, industry leading and reflecting our brand. In your role you will be responsible for creating global instore visual and window strategies and concepts to enhance the customers shopping experience, maximize selling and strengthen the Monki brand. You are responsible to set the strategy for and secure the highest level of execution across markets, while catering to local needs in collaboration with relevant functions. You will lead a team of 7 people and you will work cross-functionally with Brand & Marketing and the Concept team to develop campaign- and activity communication in windows as well as long life concepts, instore interior and instore styling. The department is also responsible to lead and inspire, ensuring the level and development of, the locally based Area Visual Merchandisers. You are also responsible to ensure collaboration with other relevant stakeholders, such as the Buying office and the Sales team.

As a Global Head of Visual, you should have minimum 5 years documented experience from a similar role within retail where you had both strategic and operational responsibility as well as documented managerial experience. Having worked in a role with global responsibility is valued.

In addition, we believe that you have the following qualities:
• You are strategic and progressive, you are able to prioritize, and you make things happen.
• You have strong leadership skills; previous management experience is required.
• You are strong in visual ideas, concept and implementation.
• You are amazing at communicating and presenting; both ideas and holding presentations/trainings in a decisive and kind way.
• You need to be able to thrive in a fast-moving organization. You aren't afraid to switch between long-term strategy work and driving current needs.
• As a person you need to be able to hold your own and play well in a team (you're joining an awesome one) and be passionate about what you do, always putting the customer first!
