Job description
Perido is looking for an UX Engineer for one of the fastest growing video games companies. They have delivered world class strategy games for over ten years. The company offers a cooperative and playful environment that is equal parts experimental and professional. The position is located in the company's newly started studio in central Stockholm.
The UX Engineer will be responsible for implementing the user-interface experience, and together with colleagues determine the functionality and features of the GUI and the coupling with the in-game elements. Teamplay and peer review are a vital part of the job, with the aim to give the players what they want. We believe the person who applies for this position is a huge gamer and has a strong passion for developing games. We hope you have broad understanding of platform limitations; perhaps you have already developed for cross-platform releases? On top of that, you also have strong communication skills and ability to work on a team.

Required qualifications
• High school/secondary school
• Good knowledge of C / C++
• Experience from Lua, Python or a similar scripting language
• Experience from third-party GUI software (Qt, wxWidgets, GTK+, FLTK) is a plus
• You express yourself well in English, in both speaking and writing
