Job Description

Business Area Distribution is responsible for Vattenfall's Electricity Distribution business, both regulated and non-regulated. In the regulated business, we plan, operate and run electricity distribution networks in Sweden and the UK. In our non-regulated business, Business Unit Vattenfall Network Solutions, we design, build, own and operate climate-smart high voltage electrical network infrastructure in Sweden, UK, Denmark and the Netherlands.
Vattenfall Network Solutions' customers are primarily the major energy consuming industries (e.g. steel, metal, mining, data centers, pulp & paper) and also increasingly customers that electrifies their heavy transport like bus, truck & ferry. With our Power-as-a-Service offer, we take full responsibility for our customer's electrical needs by investing, owning & operating their electrical networks and managing all compliance, regulatory and environmental issues, so they can concentrate on their core business.
We are now looking for the right person to fill the position Vice President for Business Unit Network Solution to lead the business and further identify & develop sales opportunities, to create and maintain business relationships and secure solid delivery of our ongoing customer contracts recognized by service excellence and high customer satisfaction and innovation. You will lead the BU Network Solution management team consisting of 4 managers located in Stockholm, Luleå and London with a team of approx. 100 employees in 4 countries. The Business Unit have grown more than 500% in the last 5 years. We have a strong pipeline with business opportunities and you will be expected to grow the business significantly coming years together with your team in the different countries.
You will report to the Head of Business Area Distribution; Annika Viklund, and be part of Business Area Distribution management team.

Your role and key responsibilities
As Vice President for Business Unit Network Solution you have the following tasks and key responsibilities:
Managing the business performance of Business Unit Network Solutions
Developing and delivering sales strategy and growing the sales pipeline
Developing business offers to stay relevant and in line with customers' expectations
P&L responsibility for the entire business unit, and accountable for budgets
Customer satisfaction and loyalty
High employee satisfaction and identification and retention of current and new employees
Be a valuable and active member of the Business Area Distribution management team
Lead and develop the people within your management team

Qualifications
Professional and personal characteristics
Today, you are a senior leader with documented sales experience and is an appreciated manager for your management team driving high business performance. You identify sales opportunities and customer needs and is recognized for delivering on sales targets and can build a capable organization with highly motivated employees. You have a university degree in business, finance, law, engineering or other suitable background with experience from sales, delivery and operations with P&L responsibility. Required is at least 10 years of senior managerial experience from working in a large complexe international business with relevant work experience preferably from a scale-up & B2B sales. You possess Swedish and English proficiency (excellent writing and reading).
