hela Sverige Assignment: UX Designer - Digital Sales Experience
We are looking for an experienced UX Designer to support a global retail client in enhancing the user experience of a digital sales tool used by store staff across international markets.
Background
The digital sales tool in question is a central part of a larger retail ecosystem and is designed to support in-store personnel in delivering efficient and high-quality customer interactions. It offers capabilities such as order creation, product search, and real-time stock visibility, with a focus on usability for both experienced and new employees.
This initiative is part of a broader transformation effort to modernize and standardize digital sales processes across global locations.
Scope of Assignment
The selected consultant will contribute to the continuous development of the user interface and experience of the tool, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless, accessible, and intuitive experience. You will be involved from early discovery and research to final implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Participate throughout the entire design lifecycle - from early-stage ideation and prototyping to finalized interface design and delivery
Create prototypes for desktop, tablet, and mobile interfaces to support user testing and stakeholder alignment
Independently conduct user research, gathering direct feedback to inform design choices
Translate user insights, business needs, and technical requirements into clear and effective UX solutions
Develop and document user journeys and flows that enhance overall experience and usability
Finalize, validate, and hand off design solutions, ensuring clear communication with development teams
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and fellow designers to ensure design intent is realized
Advocate for users and maintain a focus on accessibility and usability throughout the project
Maintain design quality and ensure outcomes align with set product goals and KPIs
Required Skills and Experience
Strong background in user-centered design, with proven success in user testing and iterative design
Experienced in applying and contributing to design systems
Skilled in both remote and in-person user research techniques
Deep understanding of responsive design, web standards, and mobile UI principles
Practical experience designing accessible interfaces aligned with WCAG standards
Advanced skills in interaction design and use of design tools such as Figma
Strong data literacy, including both quantitative and qualitative insights
Comfortable leading workshops and collaborative design activities
Clear and structured approach to solving complex design problems
Bonus Qualifications
Experience working within product teams using the "product trio" model
Familiarity with global or multilingual product environments
Background in sales or retail-oriented projects
Assignment Details
Start Date: As soon as possible
End Date: 31 August 2025 (with potential for extension)
Workload: Full-time
Location: Malmö, Sweden
Remote Work: On-site presence required 3 days per week
Travel: Occasional travel outside the primary location may be required
Language Requirement: Fluent in English, both spoken and written
