We develop some of AXIS' coolest products (at least if you ask us) with unique applications that complement the AXIS portfolio
Within METS, we are now building a dedicated software team and are looking for you with solid experience in software development and who are passionate about Agile working methods. This could be your opportunity to build and lead a wonderful high-performing team!
Your future team
Our product portfolio includes thermal imaging cameras, explosion protected products, specialty cameras and mechanical accessories. The software team at METS consists of 16 people and we are overall responsible for the development of our products, all the way from idea to volume production and launch. We love having fun at work with a long-term sustainable approach where we care about our employees.
Your roll
You will lead and develop the day-to-day operations of your team. This includes coaching the team members to ensure that we have the right skills and meets our goal of having engineers who grow within their roles and as individuals. You create the conditions for the team to be able to deliver the products and solutions which you, together with product management, have laid out a plan for.
The roll also contains:
* Personnel responsibilities including recruitment
* To work closely with project leaders and product managers within our areas
* To be engaged in forward-looking discussions about organization, product strategies and roadmaps!
* Budget
You are part of the METS management team and report to the METS R&D Director.
Who are you?
We are looking for you that have a genuine interest for management and that enjoys working with people. You're good at building relationships and trust in others and have great networking skills.
We value creativity, collaboration and openness highly. It comes naturally for you to give each individual a great deal of personal responsibility and the possibility to grow both as a person and professionally but you're always there to follow up and support when needed. You will be an important part of a rapidly growing organization full of committed people that enjoy coming to work in the mornings.
We think that you have an engineering degree either at a civil- or university level and experience of software development in working life. To be a part of this team we know that you have a positive drive forward, are a team player and have the ability to look at the big picture.
