As a System Specialist - Unix within Net Entertainment you will be responsible for securing and stabilizing our IT environment, set up and configure UNIX-based servers, as well as securing the availability and performance of the Net Entertainment casino gaming service to licenses/customers. You will also participate in different kind of projects within infrastructure, such as build entirely new environments.
What's your background?
You have acquired a solid knowledge of Unix / Linux / Solaris through work experience and can easily see the "big picture" and relations and links between different systems. You have a passion for working within operations. You also have good knowledge in Java/JVM, java application server on a configuration/tuning level and TCP/IP stack basics.
Your profile includes:
• 2 or more years of experience in UNIX (Solaris 10.x) and Linux (Red Hat 6.x)
• 2 or more years of experience in Application server (Glassfish 2.x and JBoss 6.x)
• Java and TCP/IP basics
Since our working language is English high proficiency in English, both written and oral, paired with excellent documentation skills is a must on all Net Entertainment?s positions.
It's a bonus if you have the knowledge in:
• Scripting (Shell, Python, Perl, PowerShell)
• Deployment tools (Puppet and Fabric)
• VMware vSphere 5.x
• ITIL
