Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter: SPECIFIC SUBJECT DESCRIPTION: In nursing knowledge is developed about health and a good life despite illness or disability and a peaceful and dignified death. In nursing, it is not illness or disability, but person's experience, interpretation and reactions to illness and disease that is focus. Both qualitative and quantitative methods are used. JOB ASSIGNMENTS: Responsibilities include teaching, assignment as course coordinator, supervision and examination, at undergraduate, advanced level and postgraduate level in courses at the institution. Assignment as course coordinator comprises to development and coordination of learning objectives, learning activities, assessment and assessment criteria in relation to the content, purpose and current pedagogical research, and quality assurance motivated operational plans in the Institute. The assignment includes efforts to achieve participation in planned joint meetings and activities. The holder is expected initiate and applies for external funding.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer: ELIGIBILITY: The qualifications for academic positions are given in Chapter 4, Section 3 - 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance. PhD degree in Health Care sciences (Health Care sciences, medical biotechnology or other social sciences) and demonstrated pedagogical skills. ASSESSMENT: Regulations for the evaluation of qualifications for academic positions are given in Chapter 4, Section 3 - 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance. The first assessment criterion is scientific and pedagogical skills. Great importance will be attached to experience of teaching in quantitative methods at nursing programmes and current research experience in Health Care/Health Care Sciences. In addition leading and applying for external funding is an advantage. Administrative skills and ability to cooperate will also be considered.
