We are seeking a UK Business Development Representative to join us on this exciting journey. With a mix of passion and ownership, you will play a key role in bringing new customers on board. You will be part of the Commercial Team, which includes Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support, and you will work closely with our Credit and Tech teams to secure great leads and land top-notch customers.
Sales are currently growing at an extraordinary rate and as the driving force, you will have a significant impact on accelerating this growth even further. As a Business Development Representative, your main job is to qualify and prospect potential customers. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills and be comfortable working with credit products and identify customer needs. You should be able to clearly express ideas and engage in meaningful conversations with potential customers, including topics like financing options and financial management. You will build a strong customer base for Treyd in the UK market. This is a hands-on, prospecting-intensive role within a company expecting rapid growth in a fast-expanding market.
Main responsibilities
Prospect a diverse range of potential customers, including D2C brands, multi-brand retailers, distributors, and wholesalers, each with unique credit needs, financial strength and purchasing behaviours.
Present Treyd to potential customers through cold calls, emails and LinkedIn to set up meetings for our Account Executives.
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the UK and Irish markets.
Engage in events and exhibitions to prospect and network with both new and existing customers.
