The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Experience of Android UI development and the implementation of Material Design interfaces.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as "touch"
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Strong background in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Experience with Android Databinding and Model-View-Presenter architecture.
• Must have a Authorisation and Authentication expereince with AWS
Working language: Swedish/English
Meriting competence
• Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
• understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Familiarity with continuous integration

• Your work will be with android development
• You will be part of a software team of colleagues,working with continuous development and code reviews
• The team strives to write clear and testable code
