The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Eucation/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• senior experience in JAVA and Spring programming
• You have strong experience with designing API:s
• You have strong experience with creating a clean software design with proper division of responsibilities, low levels of coupling etc
• You have strong experience with AWS and Kubernetes
• You have strong experience with operating and troubleshooting complex micro service environments
• Working language: English

About the position
• work as a Senior Java Developer
• Investigate and become familiar with existing functionality provided by the monolith system, as well as its dependencies to other systems.
• Create solutions for replacing the functionality in a safe, yet quick way, carefully accepting reasonable risks, in order to finish in time.
• Code new services using Kotlin/Spring, using internal software design inspired by Domain Driven Design
• Make sure that the services are written and deployed in a way that makes them secure, robust, flexible, maintainable, scalable and accurate
