The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• 8+ years of demonstrated experience in Software Development.
• Strong end-to-end development experience
• Experience of Embedded development in C and/or C++
• Experience of working in an Linux environment
• Demonstrated understanding of Unix Environments
• Unix shell scripting
Working language: English
Wanted competence
• Swedish
• Development experience with SQL database systems.
• Development experience in J2EE.
• Demonstrated experience in AWS/VMware environment.
• Experience with JIRA/Crucilbe/Confluence/Hiptest/Team City
• IoT Frameworks
• Smartcards, ISO 14443
About the position:
• Working as C/C++ developer in an embedded environment
• Define, understand and breakdown the customer's requirements as part of the Agile planning process.
• Implement peer-reviewed software, focusing on re-use, object-oriented design and unit testing.
• Develop automated unit tests for all implemented software and Identify risks and resolve issues during the project life cycle.
• Ensure the quality and maintainability of software and related work products
• Ensure software projects meet deadline and aligned with our operational plan. Ensure the quality and maintainability of software and related work products.
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures. Define and execute performance testing (as required).
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing systems specifications, standards and programming.
