You are a passionate person, ready to roll up your sleeves and work together with us at Ingka Centres in our exciting city-centre expansion and active portfolio management strategy.
You are at ease with understanding real estate market developments and quick evaluation of acquisition opportunities. You should also be well-versed in completing complex financial underwriting and provide clear, concise acquisition and divestment recommendations.
Working on multiple investment projects at the same time doesn't faze you and you like taking a deep dive across a wide spectrum of opportunities. You are highly reliable and flexible and can be counted on for delivering your tasks with care, speed and accuracy. You have a lot of fun taking responsibility for complex processes and contributing in large team settings.
To succeed (and enjoy) in this role you have:
• Strong analytical skills and ability to create and run detailed financial analysis/modelling for real estate investment (advanced Excel skills are required)
• A demonstrated track record in sourcing, underwriting, conducting due diligence, documentation negotiation, concise investment presentations to committees and closing institutional real estate transactions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and communications skills, as well as strong intrapersonal and collaborative skills and acute attention to detail
• Bachelor degree preferably in Finance or Business administration
• Minimum 5 years' experience of mergers and acquisitions from either the advisory side or Investor side
• Previous experience in investment consulting companies which is a plus
• Strong communication skills in English
A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
You will closely work with the Global Investment and Divestment Manager and assist in all aspects of Ingka Centres' real estate investment and divestment projects globally.
You will join our small and highly motivated team and manage the full investment and divestment process spectrum. This includes evaluation, underwriting, due diligence, transaction documentation negotiation, preparation of investment/divestment Board requests and closing of acquisitions and dispositions of existing properties.
Due to the Global nature of the role, be prepared for a broad-based spectrum of activities and working in a highly dynamic and international environment. You will, amongst others:
• Evaluate and underwrite investment opportunities including financial viability analysis
• Direct and co-ordinate internal/external teams within due diligence and closing process
• Prepare high quality investment/divestment packages for Committee governance bodies (Excel and PowerPoint)
In this role you will report to the Global Investment and Divestment Manager. This role is located in Malmö, Sweden.
