McNeil AB is part of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies and the largest industry in Helsingborg with around 680 employees. In 2018 we were ranked as one of the greatest workplaces in Sweden by Great Place to Work. We develop and manufacture OTC drugs and amongst our brands Nicorette is the largest and also the world-leading product for smoking cessation. We encourage our employees to an active, healthy and tobacco free lifestyle. Johnson & Johnson is a globally operating health care company employing approximately 129 000 people in more than 250 companies in 60 countries. Our headquarters is in New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA.

Consumer R&D in Helsingborg develops OTC drugs (over the counter, non-prescription medicines) for the global market and innovation is a common theme in our daily work.

This three-year trainee program helps fuel our pipeline of future leaders and provides a unique opportunity to gain broad experience in global pharmaceutical development. Participation will ensure learning and contribution experience in all relevant R&D functions; Analytical Dev, Formulation Dev, Regulatory Affairs, Project Mgt/R&D Franchise, Medical/Clinical and Quality Assurance but will also provide insight into additional supporting functions such as for example, Patent, Consumer Insight, Finance and Marketing. You will be offered three one-year rotations within six of the main research functions. Our intention is that you start in September 2019.

The program is focused on learning by doing and we expect you to rapidly get up to speed and start contributing to our projects. After completion of the program, you will have gained a good overview of development of OTC products and a deep understanding of how an R&D organization works and delivers new innovative products to the market.

Since we are a truly global organization and deliver products to a global market, it is an advantage that you are mobile, can and would love to work in different countries for shorter or longer periods. Furthermore, you are eager to learn new things, have strong leadership skills and are a person who sees possibilities in every challenge.
You have finished your education not more than 1 year ago and you should have a Master of Science or PhD in a relevant area.

If you are interested and wish to know more, please contact Mikael Sundahl, Analytical Dev +46 42 288507, Katarina Lindell, Formulation Dev +46 42 289341, Johan Berglund, Regulatory Affairs +46 42 288204 or Elisabeth Kruse, Medical/Clinical +46 42 288555.

For union related questions, please call: Ulrika Lindstrand, AF 042-288462 or Lena Danman, Unionen 042-288 117

To apply, you will need a recommendation letter from a knowledgeable person. This person can e.g. be a teacher/supervisor at the University and he/she should have a good understanding of your skills and development areas. A CV and a personal letter should be included in the application as well as references. Please send your application at the latest March 10th.
