We are a team consisting of six employees. What characterizes us is that we are loyal, always stand up for each other and deliver high quality. Our team is responsible for the implementation and operations of everything concerning our databases.
We, together, are a business-critical group within the company and are responsible for further developing and managing the companies oracle products and infrastructure. The team's goal is for everything to work both during office hours and outside office hours. That is why we work actively to detect things early for preventive purposes. Finding faults and / or problems is a trigger for us and we are always at hand.
Availability, proactivity and flexibility defines our work and the delivery is always of the highest quality. We are looking for a trainee who is interested in and wants to work with the latest technologies in Oracle databases.
What your daily work will consist of as a trainee
First, you will learn a lot about the company, Operations, Systems we work in and tools we use!
Some examples on what you will do and learn during the 9 months:
How to take care of the production database / system
Work closely with operations
Troubleshooting (complicated) in real systems
Business-critical systems
Who are you?
We are looking for a fast learner, who have an eye for details, is proactive and feels triggered by problem solving. The ideal trainee for us is also analytical and have good communication and cooperation skills.
Previous experience and knowledge of Linux as well as any database such as Oracle, MySQL, Postgre or MS is a requirement.
Experience of system/tools such as: Relational databases e.g. Oracle, MySQL or MS SQL Server including SQL programming language.
Competence in Linux.
University degree in Computer science/engineering: MSC/BSC or similar.
You are fluent in English, Swedish language is merit.
