This is especially evident at idle, maneuverings in the harbor or at low speed.

Investigate possible sound/noise enhancements/improvements on Volvo Penta 's marine aquamatic diesel drivelines.
The goal for Volvo Penta are to have a lower precepted noise/sound level than the competitor outboard engines on our diesel aquamatic drivelines.
The goal of the thesis is to develop technical & feasible solutions for improving the sound/noise level in the physical application and present the best solution out of a environmental, economical & technical perspective.
