Description
The client are now looking for a Test Manager who will ensure successful testing, and quality assurance of this new technology. The Test Manager will also be responsible for testing the different integrations to this new technology for our contracted customers and partners
You will be responsible for the testing of system/s under development, for providing expert process improvement advice to reduce development defects and provide assurance that risks associated with implementing new system/s are accurately quantified and addressed.
You are responsible for all test issues of a project: from test strategy to test planning, control of the test team and advice on setup to evaluation of the software. You have agile project experience and contribute to software quality through suitable concepts for all test types.
Work tasks:
• Design, planning, coordination, and implementation of end-to-end tests including the associated neighboring systems and their contact persons, implementation of integration and interface tests
• Control of a test team with distributed locations
• Development of holistic test strategies to be able to test enterprise systems in a complex application landscape
• Design and coordination of non-functional tests including load and performance tests
• Integration of test activities in the agile way of working
• Design and creation of test scenarios for business-critical applications
• Define scope of testing in projects.
• Manage the administration of testing scripts (including unit, integration, capacity, system, user acceptance and release) to maintain compatibility with existing applications, hardware, and devices
• Ensuring traceability in the software testing process.
• Lead and effectively manage a team of testers to meet the product requirements.
• Organize test meetings, review, and check test case documents.
• Assign tasks to test team.
• Prepare and submit detailed test reports to describe testing outcomes and assist developers in the removal of defects
Mandatory competence and experience:
• Agile testing experience enables collaboration and consistent communication between the development and testing teams.
• At least 3 years of proven test manager experience
• Experience working on a quality assurance team.
• Experience working with JIRA
• Airline & Travel Agency experience is an advantage
• Bachelor Degree in Computer science, engineering or a related field
• Test management certification
• Agile certification is an advantage.
Preferred competence and experience:
• Experience testing and reading XML is an advantage
