Description:

We are looking for test engineers within electrification and transmission. As a Test Engineer you will be involved in development projects as resident engineer at our customers or at projects internally at AVL. The product to be tested or validated could be electro mobility items (HV Batteries, Electric Machines, Inverter and On Board Charger) or transmissions both for light and heavy duty vehicles. It could be both hardware components and electric components to be tested in rig or in vehicle as well as HIL testing. Your responsibilities will include definition of test methods, planning and execution of test task and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Bachelor degree within power electronic, physics, electric, mechatronic, mechanic or equivalent.
• At least 2-4 years' experience from mechanical and/or electrical testing, preferably within the automotive industry.
• A strong interest in both product development and in the further development of our methods and tools within Drivetrain
• Able to communicate professionally in English.
• Analytical person, experience in simulations etc. is an advantage
• Skills in mechatronics, electrical machines and rig programming is an advantage
• High level of integrity and responsibility
• Self-propelled team player, eager for continuous learning
• Strong interest in vehicles, especially the Drivetrain.
• Driver's license B (E and/or C also meritorious)
