Jeppesen Gothenburg is looking for a Test Engineer
The Software Test department in Gothenburg is looking for a Test Engineer. The Test Engineer will be part of a team that will be testing Jeppesen's large and complex products. The position involves working in multiple international projects, making sure that each project is using appropriate testing processes and tools. The position involves strategic - as well as direct hands on technical work. As a Test Engineer you will work with requirements analysis and creation of new test cases, execution of tests, both manual and automated, documentation and reporting, test automation tools, test process development and improvements.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Participating in the development of test planning and test procedure documentation including writing detailed test cases
• Performing analysis of requirements and providing feedback on requirement testability
• Creating and maintaning of automated test cases and automated test solutions
• Executing test cases and recording results
• Automating test cases
• Entering defect reports in the project's approved defect tracking system.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years experience of testing in a software engineering environment. He or she will have a B.Sc. or equivalent in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or related discipline. He or she should be driven and meticulous in his/her work, as well as inquisitive and have good interpersonal skills. The candidate should be ISQTB certified.
