We are now looking for a Test Engineer to join the Product quality and testing team at our HQ in Gothenburg.You will be responsible for our product testing and your goal is to assure that tests are conducted on time, efficiently and in a correct manner. You will also support in the development of new testing methods and take part in the component and supplier approval process. As a valued member of the team you will be working with engineers in Sweden, Poland and China, and you will report to the Product Quality & Testing Supervisor.
Main activities and responsibilities
• Plan and conduct tests according to the test order
• Measurement and calculations of forces, vibrations, speed and sounds using sensors, dynamometers, tachometers and other equipment
• Perform various electrical measurements with multi-meter, oscilloscope etc.
• Simpler programming of control system - PLC, inverters, etc.
• Evaluate and document test result in test report
• Participate in new project and build test conveyors and equipment for new projects
• Develop and standardize test methods
• Support in approval of initial samples from suppliers
• Support, analyze and handle some of customer complaints
Who are you?
• University diploma related to technical engineering with interest of electrical components
• A couple of years experience in working with testing and documenting of results
• Experience in material testing and quality assurance
• Able to read and handle technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of materials such as: Plastic, aluminum, stainless, etc
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Knowledge in LabVIEW, PLC-programing, DAQ, measuring instruments and sensors is meritorious
• Knowledge within APQP and PPAP is meritorious
