About the position
Perido is looking for a Test Engineer for our customer, a major player in the automotive industry. If you are available immediately or in the near future and want to take on a full-time assignment as a Test Engineer, you are most welcome to send us your application today! Your daily tasks
As a Test Engineer, you will join a highly dedicated team of engineers responsible for test analysis, test planning, and test methods definition. You will write and execute tests across all layers of the V-model, focusing on verification and validation of door, locking, and alarm functions. You'll handle fault tracing and coverage analysis on component nodes, system designs, and vehicle functions, working with HIL, SIL, and VIL infrastructures, as well as real-life testing on tracks and roads.
You will develop next-generation door and alarm features while addressing quality issues and model year updates. Collaboration with requirement owners and suppliers to define test activities and ensure device readiness will be key. You'll conduct system testing in Boxcar, SIL, HIL, and VIL, develop test methods in Carweaver and vTestStudio, and manage test requirements. Additionally, you will create fault reports, review supplier test results, and ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria.

Qualifications:
Master of Science within electronics, mechatronics, applied physics or similar
Experience within the automotive industry
Proficiency in electronics and hardware testing
Experience within automated verification of system design and software
Experiences of following tools: Elektra, Canalyzer/Canoe, Inca, DSA, CarConfig, CarCom
Experience in test automation tools e.g., Vector hardware & software
Knowledge and understanding how to read electrical schematics, use of instruments such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators etc.
Swedish B-driver's license
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Contract type and hours
