PIM Core & IMS are currently seeking Test Designers to develop test solutions for HW platforms. Responsibility is for blades (single or multi PBA), mainly network switches, routers and DSP/CPU blades using IP technology.
The scope of operation for Product Introduction Management (PIM) Core and IMS is to secure timely product introductions and efficient product life cycle management from a Sourcing and Supply perspective through broad and deep cooperation with Development Units, Product Management and Global Services. Our responsibility ranges over the following Platform & Application product segments:
• Mobile Switching & BSC
• Wireline Switching
• Packet Core
• IMS
• User Management
• Gateways & RXI
• Core Site Products
• OSS
• TSP
• CPP
• AXE
• IS
• WPP
• OEM Service Layer
The Test Designers are responsible for:
• Develop the test solutions in close co-operation with both the PDUs and the Master Factory (ESS Katrineholm)
• Proactively work with Design for Test (DfT)
• Improve and maintain current test solutions
• Educate and support the Master and Clone factories as well as EMS
• Participating in harmonization programs for the manufacturing test solutions within BNET.
Qualifications. You should have:
• Bachelor or Master Science degree in Electronics, preferable Digital, or very good digital electronics competence through working experience.
• At least 3 years working experience of test development experience or hardware design
• Knowledge of IP based switching systems
• The ability to work in teams
• Good communication skills
• A driven and flexible personality
• The ability to perform test analysis
• The ability to evaluate test results
• Good English and Swedish writing and conversation skills
• Interest to educate others
• Business trips will be a natural part of the job
