JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Test and Verification Engineer you will work closely with the design teams to translate requirements to measurable test cases. You will also have the responsibility to develop test plans and will be given a possibility to influence test and verification methods to be used.
Your primary tasks till be:
• Plan and execute the testing of Axis' products from a mechanics perspective
• Write and develop test instructions
• Supply test and verification knowledge to the project and design teams
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We think that you have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with experience from verification and testing on a system level of products within the field of electronic devices. You have good ability to coordinate, plan and prioritize tasks, assignments and responsibility.
We put great emphasis on the importance of communication and interpersonal skills in order to present progress and status to stakeholders. You are analytical and have good understanding of testing and documentation and are able to practice this in the areas of mechanical and environmental testing such as impact, climate, and vibration testing of our products.
HARDWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE TEAM
The Hardware Quality Assurance team has the focus on product testing, verification and validation of the entire system with focus on the mechanical components in our products. Our primary goal is to make sure that all products leaving the R&D organization fulfills the Axis product quality level.
Our internal interfaces are designers, project managers and product management.
