As Tender Manager within the Valve Department of HVDC you will have an exciting and important position in our global organization. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that our tenders are offered to the total system supplier with the right cost, delivery time, risks and scope. This you will do by working closely with our engineering, product management, purchasing and production functions. A part of your scope will also be to drive department initiatives to further improve our processes.

Your personality and mind-set will play an important part to your success in this position. We seek you who are structured, driven and likes to continuously improve processes and come with new ideas. Team working skills and the ability to communicate with different stakeholders are a prerequisite.

You should have good knowledge in Excel and be fluent in both English and Swedish, written and spoken. It is advantageous if you have project management experience and/or a business-or engineering degree. We also consider it a plus if you have experience of working with Lean methodologies.

You will be part of HVDC within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. HVDC System Technology Valves delivers electric power converters and optical measuring devices for HVDC and FACTS applications.
