About the position
We are currently looking for a contractor to work in the role as wireless Technology Planning Engineer.
In this role you will work in a small team with the responsibility to identify and analyze changes in trends, and new disruptive technologies that may affect Huawei's wireless network product portfolio. You will interact a lot with our local experts, but you are also expected to be able to contribute with your own deep analysis work in areas of your own expertise. You are expected to report and present your analysis work both internally in the Huawei Sweden office, but also to our close colleagues in Headquarters in China.
A successful wireless Technology Planning Engineer provides timely, well documented, thorough and clear analysis work that has an impact on Huawei's Headquarters' platform and product roadmaps. That is our main contribution, but we shall also inspire and make our local experts aware of new opportunities, and in that way we have an impact also on the direction of the local Huawei Sweden R&D business.
Qualifications & experience
You have a M.Sc. or a Ph.D. in RF or digital electronics, applied physics, data science or similar
You have at least 5-6 years working experience, preferably from the field of wireless communications
Having previously worked in a similar technology planning role is meritorious
Required skills/personal characteristics
Analytical, open-minded, conscientious, solution-oriented, self-driving with a professional attitude
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
You are able to document and present your work in a clear, effective and to the point language
