At Hitachi Energy, the demand for HVDC technology is expanding rapidly, and so is our need for world-class technical training. To support our global projects and customers, we are strengthening our Valves Training organization with a dedicated Valves Technical Training Content Owner.
In this role, you will contribute to shaping the knowledge and competence development surrounding one of our most advanced technologies. You'll work at the intersection of engineering, product development, and customer delivery - ensuring that training content is accurate, modern, and accessible.
If you thrive in a technical environment and enjoy combining coordination, content development, and hands on training, this role will give you the opportunity to truly make an impact.
How You'll Make a Difference
Deliver HVDC Valves product and maintenance training for both customers and internal personnel - on site in Ludvika and at customer locations worldwide.
Keep the HVDC GI Valves technical training portfolio aligned with the latest product updates, engineering developments, and standards.
Develop, revise, and structure training materials, presentations, and documentation, ensuring clarity and technical accuracy.
Coordinate and schedule training activities, securing trainers, facilities, and timelines in collaboration with project and customer training teams.
Ensure the HVDC Valves Training & Certification Center is used effectively, safely, and kept up to date with the appropriate training equipment and configurations.
Represent the organization in internal and external contexts, contributing to a consistent, professional, and technically robust training offering.
Your Background
Experience in technical training, course delivery, or technical documentation - ideally from engineering, manufacturing, energy, or other industrial settings.
Strong ability to coordinate and plan training activities, preferably in a global, project driven environment.
Comfortable collaborating with Product Owners, Engineers, Product Developers, and Production Engineers to ensure training content reflects the latest product versions.
Skilled in creating and maintaining training presentations, manuals, and structured documentation.
Familiar with or interested in learning about HVDC systems, power electronics, or industrial equipment.
Willingness to travel internationally to support training delivery at customer sites and other Hitachi Energy locations.
A proven team player with strong leadership skills, capable of guiding groups both in training situations and during internal problem-solving activities.
Experience working in environments with strict HSE standards and commitment to safe workshops and site practices.
