The technical service engineer would be responsible for ensuring the appropriate coordination of all needed technical support to franchises in Scandinavia as well as giving technical support to the sales team. You will be reporting directly to the Technical Service Supervisor.
Major responsibilities:
• Installing and starting up the equipment for new customers
• Trouble-shooting and repairing equipment for existing customers
• Identifying franchise equipment needs
• Performing equipment inventory, quality audits and special reports
• Providing needed training and continuously validating customers' personal knowledge.
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Supporting commercial and HQ teams within random activities
Required profile and skills:
• 5 years of technical or pre-engineering school with expertise in mechanics or electronics
• Be able to read schematics
• Willing to travel 80% of the time
• Fluent in English and an understanding of Norwegian and Danish
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• Self sufficient with the ability to work in teams
• Able to recognize potential problems and find solutions.
• Knowledge of re-treading process, tire construction and scrap tire analysis is an asset.
