Business Unit Tank Gauging is looking for a Technical Product Manager for a temporary period of 10-12 months with start as soon as possible since one person in the team will be on parental leave.
The Technical Product Manager is a coordinator/expert and provides sales and after sales support to the RTG organization. This role is also responsible to maintain and develop the offering of buy-outs and system options based on future industry needs and business opportunities.
As a Technical Product Manager you will have extensive contact with suppliers, engineering and development, quality department, procurement as well as our sales representatives. The job may also include visiting suppliers and customers.
Specific job responsibilities for this position include:
• Provide support for Wireless system.
• To keep the present portfolio of buy-outs updated.
• Provide Raptor product support for operations department.
• Drive introduction of new options in business and operations systems.
• Together with the engineering and sales department identify technical possibilities and opportunities.
• Responsibility for tracking customer satisfaction, product performance, field problems or other shortcomings of the products.
• Support the sales organizations with product questions and clarifications.
Success in this role requires a customer focused team player with social skills and solid technical background. You have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or similar skills from working experience. You are structured and have excellent analytical and technical skills combined with a high drive for results. Experience with the TankGauging products and manufacturing systems is a strong merit. Our business environment is highly international why you have good interpersonal skills and are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken. The position is located in Gothenburg.
