In the role of Technical Manager, you are part of the Fleet & Network Excellence department and its Fleet Management team.
The position will contribute to the company's overall execution of its business plan by:
Ensuring correct technical set up and maintenance methods according to product specifications and high-quality implementation of approved modifications, upgrades, and test programs on all container types in the service network.
Securing the data quality of the configuration of containers in the fleet.
Ensure the inflow of well-prepared improvement suggestions to the product care process and contribute to product and process development projects related to the products in the network.
This all contributes to the quality of the container fleet, so that the company will be seen by its customers as a high-quality professional product/service provider, while also maintaining a cost-efficient structure.
Responsibilities
The following general duties and responsibilities apply:
Manage maintenance program(s)
Follow-up and report on current maintenance and upgrade status ("dashboard"), e.g.:
maintenance back-log
status of retrofits
estimated/planned/required resource need for maintenance in network
Containers in "Damage Follow-up" status
Gatekeeper for improvements of design data towards the design organization.
Collect cases of importance for the network,
Ensure business cases and priorities for improvements
Introduce them in the Product Care Process
Assure implementation of modifications according to set implementation cost and plan.
Keep track of and drive progress for "one-off" implementation cases (e.g., capturing X containers with a deviation, closing a retrofit by monitoring of the final X units, etc.)
Maintain the configuration structure and the data quality of configuration data for containers in the fleet.
Corrections/adjustments to parameters and system settings to maintain data quality
Act as second line technical support internally and externally and provide advice on cost effective individual maintenance actions to the network.
Reefer Management
Other: Any other identified tasks as defined by Envirotainer Management.
Demands on the position / Professional capabilities
Profound technical understanding and skills, also from a fleet perspective
Independent execution and prioritization of multiple tasks and priorities
International communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Ability to explain and communicate technical subjects with all levels of the user community
Driver of development both from a technology, process, and competence perspective
Fluency in Office tools (primarily Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.))
Ability to learn and use other relevant IT tools as required

Relevant work experience and education
• Relevant university/college degree within the technical field (bachelor's degree or equivalent). Mechanics, electronics or refrigeration preferred.
• Experience from fleet management or fleet maintenance is meriting
• Maintenance experience of mechanical and/or electronic products.
Hands-on repair skills or workshop experience seen as beneficial
• Knowledge from EASA and FAA Part 145 regulation is meriting.
Location
• Location in accordance with employment contract.
• The role will require some travelling
