hela Sverige Vehicle Connectivity in Gothenburg delivers products, services and solutions to all truck brands within the Volvo group. The Entertainment and Connected Services (EACS) Electronics team is now recruiting a Technical Leader/ Lead Engineer.
You will be part of our team responsible for developing the vehicles entertainment and connected service delivery platform components. These systems are an integral part of our customer's product offering and the driver environment. To deliver world class products in this area we are constantly challenged to provide the best solutions in terms of feature, quality and cost. The development is done in a global environment with colleagues and suppliers from around the world.
Job Description
Identify, set up and lead ad-hoc teams to develop critical concept areas in order to deliver solutions to a project
In early phases:
Gather and drive completion of functional and non-functional implementation requirements
Close knowledge gaps, increase technical readiness level
Represent concept development in technical cross functional teams
Technical reference meeting, System and Component Team (SCT), anchoring of concepts
Take active part in the agile release train planning activities to synchronize activities needed to develop concepts (i.e spikes etc)
During implementation phase:
Technical investigations to remove obstacles for the internal and external development teams
Align the development at the supplier to support root cause analysis

Qualifications
University degree, M.Sc.
Experience in technical leadership of internal and Tier1 supplier development resources or similar set-ups
Infotainment/ in-vehicle entertainment domain knowledge
Personal skills
Fluent in english, written and spoken
Responsibility taking personality, acts with integrity and, of course, with a result oriented mindset
Motivated, innovative enthusiastic and a positive attitude
High co-operation and communication skills
