Technical Lead - Mechanical & Project Coordination
About the position
Lindab contributes with products and services to provide better indoor climate, simplified construction and more sustainable buildings. As a part of Lindab Group, we have Spiro International, who is a market leading and technology driven worldwide machine provider. We have a global presence with our solutions for the ventilation industry. Spiro International SA with headquarter and production in Switzerland has recently started up a new R&D center, Spiro Sweden AB, which is situated in Sweden. We are on an exciting journey towards technical excellence and are now about to strengthen the team with a Technical Lead - Mechanical & Project Coordination. As an integral part of the R&D team, you will be responsible to invent and develop new technical products that will contribute to Spiro International's strong position in the market.
Who are you?
To enjoy and perform in this role we believe you enjoy both the strategic approach as well as the short-term perspective. You are passionate about technique and are curious about how the machines have been designed as well as how to operate them in the best possible way. You enjoy and have experience working in a project-based environment, where you drive forward in a structured way from start to finish, from building prototypes to hand-over to production. You see it as natural to establish best practices, processes and internal standards for the whole product portfolio. You take pride in your work and deliver on time and with high quality. You are communicative, a team player and have a down to earth approach. You see a big advantage in the possibility to mix your own mechanical design activities with project leading tasks. You excel in coordinating different units and suppliers, working together in a common project or towards common goals. We think that you have a solid background within mechanical design probably from the car industry, tool industry or the manufacturing industry. You have a track record of leading yourself and motivating others. You speak and write English fluently. You are of course a CAD-wizard where proficiency in Inventor is an advantage. The role is based in Grevie, Båstad and the role requires some traveling when the current situation allows us to do so.
