The Mission
We are looking for a Technical Director for Content Pipelines to realize and follow-up on the technical vision & implementation for an ambitious unannounced project here in Stockholm, Sweden.
As our Technical Director, you will be responsible for unification and alignment of content pipelines across multiple technology stacks within the Company. You will work closely together with the Main Technical Director as well as other Technical Directors and other discipline leads to make sure the technology we use is evolving in a direction that is beneficial for our game devs and project as a whole. You will also collaborate with other Ubisoft studios, as well as external partners to share knowledge and identify existing technology that we should adopt and possibly adapt, and develop new technology as needed.

Be responsible for unification and alignment of content pipelines across multiple technology stacks within the Company
Lead, mentor and coach a team that can work across various areas of the project.

Encourage our teams to navigate through ambitious and disruptive innovation.
Qualifications
We would love if you...
Communicate well with a variety of staff at different levels to understand their needs and assist with technical issues, work well as part of a team to develop solutions.
Think analytically to identify problems and come up with creative and efficient solutions, find new ways to overcome obstacles and achieve our vision.
Have a good understanding of the jobs within game development pipelines, their roles, needs and the challenges that they face
Have advanced knowledge of programming in Python and C++ with a very high level of technical ability using a variety of relevant software used across the project
Offer guidance to more junior members of the team and give technical assistance to staff across departments, maintain a positive attitude
Want to find the best fit solution to complex problems, finding compromises for stakeholders with differing needs.
