hela Sverige The Business Centre for separator systems in Tumba is responsible for research, development, testing, project management, product maintenance, product management and sales development for the separator system range. The main objective of the centre is to improve the profitability of the separator system business.
As Technical Design Engineer you will work with new development project and product main-tanance and the main application is Marine industry and power stations.
Key tasks* Participate in the enginering phase, responsible of design in projects and support by estimating project plan and costs.* Maintenance of existing products * Interact and follow up of installations and manufacturing of HSS systems.* Fully responsible and selfdrived for:o 3D drawings design for machinery construction.o 3D drawings design for piping and valve installationso P&ID and Process understanding* Create product structure in PDM System for manufacturing.* Contribute to increase quality and cost reduction and standard system improvement* Support Techical Product Manager with claim investigations
Knowledge and Skills* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent* Minimum 3 years experience from process engineering, particular in the Marine area, including system sizing, piping layout, flow calculations, heat transfer and fluid handling.* Fluent in written and spoken english* Skilled in Autocad and proficiency on Inventor.
In addition your skills and experience include process, automation and instrumentation to be applied on e.g. oils, fuels, and water cleaning treatment. Experience working with systems on board seagoing vessels and on land based plants is an advantage.
