Electrical System Integration is responsible for a wide range of interesting areas from the developing and the design process of the electrical system to development of integration test platforms as well as system integration management and configuration management of the complete electrical system. The Group Test Object Management is responsible for all complete electrical test environments and infrastructure for P&C. We create tomorrow's test environments within Volvo cars. The group also has the responsibility of supporting the complete R&D with hands on fault tracing in vehicles and boxcars.
As a Team member, you will work together with Scrum Master and Product Owners (Scaled Agile Framework). Our customer is the Product streams from all the units within P&C and manufactures. The team synchronies, verifies and secures that we have the right amount of test objects from a complete electrical system perspective. We have also started to build a test-center to enable continuous integration SW with cars, HIL and boxcars.
Main responsibilities of the team
Overall review of the Verification Plan/AVB (analysis and verification need) and order, update, rebuild and coordinate test enviroments (cars, HIL and Boxcars). Planning and prioritizing test enviroments (cars, HIL, and boxcars) together with the product streams. We take part in EE&C iTeam with focus on test coverage for electric system platform and we are a part of Analyze and Verification. We also secure that test object and sub-sets at product streams has the right status (HW/SW) and we do logistics managment due to lots of test enviroments will be stored for RCP test.
Required qualifications
Knowledge of lean and agile methods and tools
KDP and part structures
English fluent level, spoken and written
Experience from electrical automotive development and vehicle programs is meritorious
