The Audio Systems group within the Infotainment Electrical & Electronics Systems Engineering department is responsible for HW-, SW- and System development of all audio functionality in the cars. Apart from the sound systems (amplifier and speakers) the responsibility also includes systems like ANC (Active Noise Control) and Exterior Sound for Hybrid vehicles. Project Management and Audio Tuning is also part of the group's responsibilities. Our daily work includes transforming ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of future vehicles. We use the latest technologies and advanced methods to develop the safest car in the world and with great devotion for the environment, offer our customers a genuine driving experience
As Team Leader Audio your role will involve a wide range of tasks such as planning and monitoring the specifications, implementation and verification of audio functionality according to the project's implementation plans. As a Team Leader you are leading the cross functional system development team consisting of Function Owner, Interaction and System Designers and also Verification Engineers. The progress is reported to the projects through program managers. You will work with the latest technology in the infotainment and audio area in which technologies evolve continually in order to meet customers' future requirements.

Main responsibilities

• Lead the system development team (Feature team leader)
• Delivery responsible for audio systems into projects according to project plans
• Maintain and follow up, on daily basis, our international supplier contacts
• Summarise and present the deliveries to our internal customers

Required qualifications

• University degree in computer or electrical engineering or equal competence level achieved by long term experience
• Documented experience from assignment leadership
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Meritorious is experience from Automotive or Electrical engineering
• Meritorious is experience from Software development

Personal qualities

• The role will implicate a broad span of contacts why you should have a strong ability to communicate and to convey results in a structured and understandable way
• Ability to independently plan, manage and monitor your and the teams work towards a global goal
• Organised and business oriented
