The ompany
Maxxium Sweden is a sales and distribution company within the spirits industry. Maxxium is since 2009 owned by The Edrington Group and the Beam Group. The Edrington Group is Scotland's leading international premium spirits company, with brands as The Famous Grouse, Macallan, The Highland Park. The Beam Group owns strong brands such as Jim Beam and Makers Mark. Apart from the brands in the Alliance, Remy Cointreau, Lucas Bols, Xanté, Drambuie, S.P.I Spirits and more are also part of the Maxxium portfolio.
The Nordics head office, with 40 employees, is located in the center of Stockholm. The Maxxium Nordics region has local offices in Denmark, Norway and Finland.
The position and qualifications
As Team Lead Logistics Nordics you will a part of the logistics team of three people and at the same time an operational leader of the team. You will be reporting to Finance Director Nordics. To succeed in this role you will need to be a flexible and hands-on character with experience from the FMCG industry. This is a temporary position lasting one year due to parental leave, you will be employed by Maxxium Sweden.
Team lead responsibilities
• Daily managing and coordination of the team consisting of 2 people
• Forecasts
• Stock Monitoring
• Communicate (escalate) any team issues with vendors, transporters, authorities, warehouses, management etcetera
• Monitoring daily contacts with the contracted transporters
• Support Finance Director on various tasks
Shared tasks within the team (rotates monthly)
• Working orders in the Danish market
• Handle all material for displays, damaged goods quality claims from Systembolaget
• Various reports
Suppliers contact (SPI, Xante and all wines)
• Monitoring stocklevels and manage the stock in the warehouses
• Place purchase orders and provide the vendors with purchase plans
• Monitoring the flow of orders and goods
• Communication with Brand Managers
