Located just north of Stockholm, SSHL is a boarding school that currently has just under two hundred boarders and around four hundred and fifty day students with representation from around forty five different countries. Working very much within a Swedish conception of international education, SSHL offers students two clear routes through the school; via the IB MYP and DP programme, as well as through the Swedish National Curriculum from Year 7 upwards.

SSHL is now seeking applications for an Chemistry / Math (100%) - the role will involve working primarily with students in Swedish Gymnasium undertaking their lessons in English. Subject specialism required is in Math and Chemistry. Applicants will have the capacity to teach both subjects and while experience of the Swedish National Curriculum and IB MYP is preferred, it is not essential for teachers working in other similar educational systems.
Your profile:
Ideally, you will hold qualified teacher status or similar and have experience working in an independent or international school setting.

You will be able to develop positive relationships with all members of the school community and you will be committed to delivering a high quality educational experience. The desire to take responsibility and the capacity to adopt a solution-oriented approach to your work is vital, as is the ability to manage time effectively.
The position is available from August 10, 2016.
